Smooth film developing

Needed to get some rullino bianco e nero 35mm developed and scanned. It was super easy to send them in, and the process was pretty quick. They sent me the scans online, which was convenient. Everything looked good, no complaints at all. Felt good using a reliable place for my film. Definitely made things less stressful than trying to do it myself.

Good scans, fast return

I sent in a rullino colore 35mm for development and scanning. The scans were high resolution and looked great. Got the link to my files quickly. Service was efficient.

Reliable for my film

I've used Sviluppo Rullino several times now, mostly for rullino colore C-41 development and scans. This last order was for a rullino 120 medio formato. The quality is always consistent. I appreciate that I know what to expect. My scans always come back sharp and with good color. Shipping my film to them is straightforward, and the turnaround time is predictable. It's why I keep coming back instead of trying other labs; they've earned my trust with how they handle my film.

Great film and service!

I bought some rullini Kodak and had them develop my pellicola diapositive E-6. The film arrived fast, and the development service was just excellent! My slides look fantastic, with super vibrant colors. This lab really knows their stuff with E-6. I will absolutely be using them again for all my film needs. So happy with how everything turned out!

Are their used cameras any good? Like, are they tested or anything? Thinking about getting a vintage analog camera but I don't want to end up with a dud.

I bought a vintage Canon AE-1 from them a few months ago. It was in great shape, everything worked. They seem to check them out properly.

They say they guarantee them, so I'd imagine they test them pretty thoroughly before selling. Haven't heard of anyone getting a broken one from them.

Hey, I'm thinking about sending some rolls over from the US, specifically from California. Anyone know how long it usually takes for development and scanning, then to get the negatives back?

L Laura Moore 1 month ago
It's an international thing so it'll take a bit. I sent some in from NY and it was probably 3-4 weeks total including shipping both ways. The scans usually come quicker though, like a week or so after they get it.

Yeah, what the other user said. The scans are pretty fast once they get your film. Shipping time is the real variable, depending on customs and all that.

What's the deal with their 'bundle' discounts? Like, if I send in 5 rolls at once, do I get a better price than sending them individually?

B Brandon King 1 month ago
Yeah, they have those multi-roll development packages. It's definitely cheaper per roll if you send more in together. I usually save mine up and send 3-5 at once to get a better rate.

Totally, bulk is better for sure. They encourage it with those bundle deals for multiple rolls. Just check their pricing, it's usually listed as 'multiple roll development' or something similar.

Anyone know if the student discount applies to film stock, or is it just for development and scanning? Also, where do you even put the code?

M Melissa Jackson 2 weeks ago
I think the student discount is mostly for development bundles, but I'm not 100% sure if it applies to just buying film. You enter any coupon code at checkout, right before you pay.

Most of their deals, especially for students, are usually on the service side (developing/scanning). If it applies to film, it'll probably say explicitly. The code box is pretty obvious on the checkout page.

Do they take expired film? I have a bunch of old rolls, like 10-15 years past the date, that I'd love to see developed but some labs won't touch 'em.

S Susan Martin 1 month ago
They totally do! I sent in a roll from 2005 last year and they developed it fine. It was color film too, which can be tricky when expired.

Yup, they're cool with expired film. Just don't expect miracles if it's super old or was stored badly, but they'll definitely try.
